How do I get to Short Form Studios?

We’re based in Watford, conveniently located just off the M1, making it easy to reach by car, train, or public transport.

  • By Car: We’re a short drive from the M1, with nearby parking options available.

  • By Train: The nearest station is Watford Junction, just a short journey from London and surrounding areas.

  • By Bus: Several local bus routes stop close to the studio.

What type of content can I create at Short Form Studios?

Our studio is designed for a variety of content creators, including:

  • Photographers – Brand shoots, product photography, headshots.

  • Podcasters – Professional audio recording with high-quality mics.

  • Video Creators – TikToks, Instagram Reels, YouTube content, interviews.

  • Businesses & Brands – Promotional content, workshops, and training videos.

Do I need to bring my own hard drive?

The short answer is “Yes!” if you’re recording a podcast you need to bring an SSD hard drive. You can also purchase hard drives directly from us when you fill out your booking form.
For regular content creation you can bring any sort of drive large enough to transfer the content that you are creating in your booking.


What spaces are available for hire?

We offer three main spaces:

  • Photography Studio – Equipped with Colourama backdrops and natural light.

  • Podcast Studio – Sound-treated with professional recording equipment.

  • Creative Content Space – A blank canvas for video content, ideal for influencers and UGC creators.

  • Or you can book full studio hire and have access to all 3.

Can we hire photographers/Videographers/Editors?

Absolutely. We have some of the UK’s most talented photographers, videographers, and editors on our books and are more than happy to give you that extra support. Whether you need help capturing content, filming interviews, or editing it all together, our trusted team can jump in to make sure you walk away with high-quality, professional results. Is there a minimum time booking?

A 2-hour minimum booking applies to all studio spaces. Additional time can be booked in 1-hour increments or as half-day/full-day sessions.


Can I bring my own equipment?

Yes! You’re welcome to bring your own cameras, lighting, props, and accessories. If you need professional gear, we offer camera hire, lighting equipment, and other upgrades. Just select your time and there will be additional extras that you can choose.


Is the studio soundproof?

Our Podcast Studio is sound-treated for professional-quality audio recording, ensuring crisp, clear sound with minimal background noise. It is not 100% soundproofed.

The Photography Studio and Creative Content Space are not soundproofed but offer a quiet environment suitable for filming and content creation. If you require controlled audio conditions, we recommend booking the Podcast Studio for the best recording quality..


What is the maximum capacity of the studio?

The studio comfortably accommodates up to 6-8 people, depending on the setup.


Do you offer editing services?

Yes, we can edit your content for an additional fee. Let us know what you need, and we’ll tailor a package for you.


Can I book a tour before hiring the studio?

Absolutely! If you’d like to see the space before booking, we’d love to show you around.

What’s your cancellation policy?

We offer free rescheduling with at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations within 24 hours of your booking may be subject to a fee.
